I was seeing "make all comments reply to the node" or something like that for a while in my content types, but now It's now showing up.
Any known conflicts with, say, Advanced Forum or Discuss This or CCK or anything?

Nevermind... just a bit of male-pattern-blindness. It's below the "attachments" settings.
Thanks for this mod, by the way!
I was wondering what problems it solves... here's one big one for anyone else wondering:
If somebody deletes a comment, any comments created using "reply" button on that comment will also be deleted. W/ flatcomment, that doesn't happen unless you delete the "post" node.
