This is great (reminds me of the old nuke days), but the name "controlpanel" in the link evokes cPanel access for the site instead of the control panel page.

I fixed this by renaming the directory modules/adminpanel/ and renaming the two files adminpanel.module and adminpanel.css.

I then did a search/replace for "control" and replaced with "admin".

Ftp and everything's happy. Nice work, though.

I suspect that your problem is related to http://drupal.org/node/2476. I don't believe that this unique to the controlpanel module.
