I have downloaded 5.x-1.3 2007-Aug-22 module. It states that it fixed the strong tag issue as stated in
ldapauth.module: http://drupal.org/node/164078 HTML fixes. In the version that is available for download this is not fixed. Also, the module is no longer populating the groups and email addresses from ldap. I am concerned that maybe the link is to the wrong version, or maybe the version I am looking for is a development version that is not listed. Can anybody help point me in the right direction. I would like to have the most up to date code base.

I second this, you are asking users to download some non-existent development revision from past April 2008, but all you have listed is 5x-1.3 for Drupal 5 and you have no development revisions listed for download.
