I need help getting a posted event to send email to people related to the post.
What i have is a site that has an online calendar, and whenever a new event is created, it emails the users that are selected from the user reference option, i have looked on several post on the topic and all came up with nothing and ended up closed without a outcome, im hoping things are different this time
Iv looked in the forums there seems to be a solution for V5 called field action, never actually tied it.
using actions there is an option to send email, this only works for the '%author', there is also an option to post a message on the screen for user reference, but not to email them. is there something im missing, or is a hook overide needed. if the latter could someone help!
