I had an election item, and it didn't expire as expected. Cron updates are working fine.

The item is a "Your vote counts" story, promoted to the front page and published.

Here's the node expiry setting for this Story:

Expiration Type: Expire on Date
Expiration Time: 3 Months
Expiration Date: 2008-11-05 00:00:01

I waited a whole day (numerous manual cron runs and automatic ones) and this node never expired, so I manually unpublished and unpromoted it.

What am I doing wrong? Does Node Expire still work in Drupal 5.12?
