There is a community of users confused from the documentation and installation of this module.
There are two sources to download this module, and after following the documentation there are two phpfreechat folders and third closely named phpfreechat-1.2
the documentation tells us to "Extract phpFreeChat with all its files to a folder named phpfreechat"
with three folders this is confusing.
the drupal error says "you must download the script", is there a way instead of having to download the script we could just make it text on a webpage where users could just copy and paste it?
the demo for this module is promising, how can we better this situation?
user whom have this module already working, can you shed some light on version 1 (stable)?
maybe direct the rest of us?

after downloading the module from drupal goto
http://www.phpfreechat.net/download
click on
Download 1.x (stable) version
click on
phpfreechat-1.2-setup.php
this will download another folder called something like 'phpfreechat-1.2'
put this folder inside phpfreechat module
rename phpfreechat-1.2 folder to phpfreechat
download 'the script' (vague, I can't remember where I got the script at this point because all the confusion) and put in the sites/all/phpfreechat/phpfreechat
