2 Drupal share 1 Gallery2

I have 2 Drupal sites (using the multisite function of Drupal) and I want to share 1 Gallery2. I just tested it, it's ok. But is it a good idea ?

Because the Gallery2 just to provides embedded images for the 2 Drupal sites, and if I want to use the standalone Gallery2, I think I still can use the multiroot function of G2 (not multisite).
