Half in header, half in footer

Hello,

Thank you for your great module.
I tried to surround my newsletter in a DIV tag pair. I put the opening <div style="..."> in header section and </div> in footer section.
After sending a test newsletter things are wrong. Seems to me that the module automatically closes the DIV tag in header and corrects the one in footer and my newsletter content resides between these two DIV pairs. I checked the code with Firebug, it doesn't show the real html sometimes.
Is it possible to use this module this way: having a opening tag in header section and closing tag in footer section without an automated cleanup?

FYI I have installed the Emogrifier and received the test newsletter in Gmail.
