Description
Note that a version of this feature now exists in Domain Access 6.x.2.0. Not sure how that will interact with this module.
In Domain Access, we now have a setting for each role that is appended to the user object. No session tokens are used.

Domain User Default and default domain in Domain Access are quite not the same. Perhaps a writeup is in order...
#2
I would think so. A clarifying note about the difference between the default feature and what this module does.
Can you summarize the difference in two sentences?
#3
DA's user default setting is specific to viewing and editing content while Domain User Default is specific to viewing a specific domain (the issue of weather the user has the right to view the content is not considered).
There's a couple of settings Domain User Default creates:
1. User redirect (Settings specific to how users with a default domain set are redirected):
1.1 Never redirect
1.2 Only from primary domain
1.3 From any subdomain other than the user's default
If set to only redirect from the primary domain, the user will be able to navigate other subdomains. If set to always redirect, once a user has picked a default domain, they will always be directed to that domain, until they change it.
2. Redirect Behavior (These settings determine which pages should or should not be directed).
2.1 Redirect on every path except those listed.
2.2 Redirect only on the paths listed.
Note: you are never redirected on admin/* pages
3. Display redirect message:
3.1 No
3.2 Yes
If the above option is set to never or to only redirect from the primary domain, setting this option to yes will display a link for the user when they are browsing a domain other than their default domain
4. Display message when default domain is set:
4.1 No
4.2 Yes
Setting this option to yes will display a message when a user's default domain is updated.
Using http://www.thebeehive.org as an example:
1. is set to only from primary domain
2. is set to redirect only on the paths listed:
3. is set to no
4. is set to no
This will result in someone landing on http://sacramento.thebeehive.org/money/pay-taxes/start-filing-now/learn-... will get their default domain set to sacramento.thebeehive.org. If the same user goes to www.thebeehive.org they are redirected to http://sacramento.thebeehive.org.
