I've set up a page panel as the front page of http://www.2370squadron.org.uk and it displays fine to visitors who are registered and logged in.

But anyone visiting the front page for the first time sees nothing but the 1px border around one of the columns.

The structure is there as can be seen in the source code, but none of the text that shows up in a "registered" view.

I have attempted to change the permissions in the panel settings, by ticking ALL the boxes, but on clicking save all the boxes are unchecked.

All other "node" pages show normally.

Is this an "alpha" problem with Panels2? Or something more obvious.

yeah me too. I think it is a known issue for this release. See http://drupal.org/node/322140

I am just making those panels for authenticated users now. I guess the casual visitor will have to wait.
