press Search button or enter.
you get no actual results, but only the form to make the search again.
if you put the 'Across' in the appeared search box in the body of the page (Enter your keywords:) then the search will give the appropriate page.

The answer should be pretty obvious: the search box in your theme/template is broken. Copy in a working one.

It sounds like you probably hadn't run a cron job, you should set one up pointed to this URL
