hi,

i am a non-technical type dude using Drupal since version 4 for my rock band's website...

i recently had my website hacked so figured it is time to upgrade to version 6...

the 1 thing that is causing me grief is that the Simplenews module doesn't seem to work...

every time i try and subscribe using the form in the Block i get an error, basically it can't send the confirmation email...

if i am logged in and then press the "subscribe" button all works fine...

i have tried the newest version of module, the dev version that came out a few days ago, the approved version... they all have the same problem...

i haven't found anyone with the same problem though...

any advice?

note: even though last message says i will receive email etc i never get one...

If you are having trouble with a particular module, it's best to use the issue queue for that module. Not all maintainers read the forums.
