is there a way for the same noe to have a different teaser structure for different view? for example a configuration for a view in the front page and a totally different structure for a view inside the site. or, is it possible to define a new teaser-like and apply it to a view?

Hi spassaro, I´m reading your question but I´m not sure how your are using the term "view". I can think of two interpretations:

a) a way to display a node (or part of a node) at any part of your Drupal site, or
b) using the views module , creating and editing views, and use them to display your content (with the teaser, list or full modes).

I would recommend installing CCK module. Have you tried it out? It is great and it matches right your question.

CCK lets you create new content types ( just like story, page, book, whatever...). You can set up new fields and choose which fields are displayed on the teaser and which ones on full view. And that´s great it is something like a content wizzard telling you "now you see it, now you don´t" using the same node on different sections of your site.

Now, if you want something better, use CCK with Panels. You mentioned the front page, well then, the Panels module will boost your site, believe me. Anyway...if you create some views with the Views Module you can mix all these things together.

i'm using both modules CCK and Views, but i'm not sure about the content wizard that you're talking about neither panels module.

Hi spassaro,

When I wrote "something like a content wizard" I was describing how could it be to use CCK. Actually there is not such wizzard. It was just an example. However what I said about Panels it´s correct. I saw your site it´s well done, I like it, and you can boost it by installing the panels module. You won´t have problems. What I saw in your site is that you are setting a custom path for the home page (well, you would do the same with panels:) ).

So, are you from Mexico or know Mexico?
