Is there some way to allow users to change the book hierarchy? I've got a book I'm collaboratively editing with several normal users who have been granted all the rights under the book module. Is there some way they can change the page weights to re-order the book? I've noticed these users can insert non-book content types into any location in the book using the outline tab - it seems strange they can't set weights in the book itself. As I said, they are all granted the following rights:

create book pages
edit own book pages
maintain books

I made changes to my book module which does just that...you can select in the access controls who has the capacity to change weights for book pages. The module doesn't change the database at all...it just cleans up the current book.module and adds a few more features. If you're interested, check out my homepage - there's a link to it from there.
