Hi,

With Drupal 5.7 and captcha 5X31, the translation via Localization and Manage Strings will not show for:

"This question is for testing whether you are a human visitor and to prevent automated spam submissions."

I hand translated it and it wouldnd´t show. All the rest ot the text show immediatly.

Anyone having had this issue?

You have to translate the string on the CAPTCHA settings page (see screenshot).
Because the string is configurable in English it should not be translated through the standard localization

For the sake of simplicity, consistency and usability I'd remove that from the Captcha UI.

The other strings of the Captcha module are translated with the Translation Interface UI, except for the one mentioned in this topic. This is very confusing and may cost some time to figure out eventually (qed).

So either the fields in the Captcha UI play together with the ones provided in the Translation Interface UI (and are replaced if the translation has been filled out with the latter), or they are being removed from the Captcha UI.

The last one would be the best option imo.
