Hi,

Sorry, I have just submitted two feature request, here's a third... sorry. I run www.plusgroups.org.uk

I use recaptcha to authenticate anonymous users. reCaptcha is now the official captcha application and the one recommended by the creators of the Captcha idea.

reCaptcha helps to digitise books as well as catch bots from submitting stuff.

Unfortunately the reCaptcha dialogue is quite large and doesn't fit on the form, so it doesn't work / can't be used. I have changed the form to math for now, but it would be great if the form could be made wider to accomodate, and if it could then be dragged around the screen so the user can still refer to the article when writing their feedback, although this is less important as they can always minimise the feedback box and reopen it. (it would be nice if the feedback symbol stayed at the bottom so the mouse pointed didn't have to be moved).

geez, I sound demanding tonight, sorry about that, I hope you take this as constructive feedback from a hopeful webmaster and nothing more.

be seeing you!

Rich

First of all, this is wrong. reCAPTCHA is just an add-on module for http://drupal.org/project/captcha. Nothing prevents you from not using it.

Secondly, as mentioned in the other issue, you can override the stylesheet of the feedback form in your theme.

Hi There,

Sorry, but I am not wrong about reCaptcha being the recommended and officially preferred Captcha technology (not for Drupal, but by the original creators of the Captcha idea) - Carnegie Mellon University created the technology and recommend reCaptcha for various reasons, it helps digitise books and is available for the blind as well as sighted.

and secondly, my comments on stylesheet changes is still valid.

I appreciate the effort you have put in, and I am trying to offer constructive feedback.

sorry if I have offended you

Rich

Well, I'm just trying to keep my project issue queues clean.

Feel free to post a patch. Maybe I'll reconsider this decision then.
