Net2 is a new project from CompuMentor, creators of TechSoup. TechSoup is the biggest provider of software and technology assistance to the American non-profit sector; more than 50,000 non-profits use their resources.

Net2 is a conference and related online community that aim at supporting these non-profits as they move into the new world of blogging, RSS, tagging and other community-oriented web tools. As part of this process we've launched with a very minimal (can anyone say Kubrick?) site, so that we can run the development process as a "teach in" that will help other would-be Drupal users or online community developers figure out how to create their own vibrant, RSS-y, taggy, bloggy sites.

The site is hosted by Bryght, a Net2 sponsor. I'm part of Social Signal, which is providing advice on how to make the most of Drupal as a communtiy platform and would be delighted to hear from folks with experience or ideas on how to get people -- especially nonprofit users -- comfortable with Drupal, RSS, blogging and other "web 2.0" techs.
