Hi

I'm looking for a drupal developer who can also design few things for a new social network site backed by serious players.
Project test's budget is: $1,100 (installation, design, module installation and small module development). Budget is ased on average cost we have already received from various dvpers. But, unfortunately, design was not acceptable at all.
Please contact me if you have a serious interest by mentioning (in all cases) your portfolio.
Time frame: 10 days without Sat and Sun.

You've got a budget of $1,100, yet it's backed by serious players? A small social network will take more then 8-10 hours to develop, not even including the design.

you shoul pay attention on your words, I can't believe you write this!
I have the design now. I need to implement this. Drupal offers reay made solutions.
So you might not be competent for that!

Budget is a relative term, it can range from $0 to X. I have seen people paying $100 and I have also seen companies that pay $500,000 just for design. Ready made solutions (or templates) tend to be at the lower end but that also means your site will look quite generic.

Anyways, everyone got their own goals and budget, so its not something that we can easily judge.

You might want to look at boonex which is also free. You won't be able to customize very much (anything?), but it will be doable for your budget.

IMHO Drupal would cost a lot more than $1,100 to do it right.
