Running transcoding on another Server

Hello,

I want to transcode and store my videos on an older second server. I searched now for several hours and found no solution. Can somebody help me, who has tried this or knows how I could get it work. I am developing it for a non-profit organisation, and they can´t spend money for the transcoding service of openpackage.
