Selecting "Multiple values" for a link image field results in only 1 URL

When creating a new link image field, and allowing multiple values. it handles multiple images correctly but only allows you to add 1 url. This results in all images having the same url. Also after successfully submiting a node and then editing it, the url field is blank.
