I have a site with News and Blog CCK content types which the Similar Entries block correctly provides links for, but on my standard Drupal page nodes the block is empty. (I tried a broad selection of pages to confim that it ALWAYS shows on my two custom node types and NEVER on my pages.) Can you help me? Thanks.

Go to /admin/build/block and then to 'configure' link next to the 'Similar entries' block. Go to 'Node types to display:' and set a check mark next to 'page'.
