Is it possible to use this module to highlight several states at once?

We want to show a US Map on our site with each state that we offer products in highlighted.

I'm not sure-- this has nothing to do with the module per say. Rather it's a function of whether or not image map coordinates are required to be contiguous. I've never tried non-contiguous coordinates. Give it a try and see.

If not, you could do it with a plain old graphic (already highlighted) or 2 (the second one being the highlighted version that you show with jquery on hover).
