Hi! I'm from europe, hungary and making my company's website - ofcourse URLs are use hungarian terms because SEs you know. I'm just installed the Path Redirect modul - that saves my life so I thanks to you that - but have a problem if I use typical hungarian latin-2 characters (these, for example: éáűőúöüóí) because when I going to save the new route rule, module says that's have invalid characters. Browsers can handle these characters and there has no problem on any other module.

Regards.

Same problem for me, here is some test pages:

  1. http://blog.vogol.com/blog/2008/12/04/3/kan-det-bli-jævligere
  2. http://blog.vogol.com/blog/2008/12/04/3/kan-det-bli-javligere

Both 1 and 2 should be permanently redirected to:

http://blog.vogol.com/blog/2008/12/04/3/kan-det-bli-jaevligere

Only number 1 is able to do so. Both are actually inside my http://blog.vogol.com/admin/build/path-redirect/list, because I am using he pathauto module to integrate with path_redirect.

EDIT: Notice how the first link with the Norwegian 'æ' isn't turned into a link by the filter in use on this site.

This is a duplicate of #270185: Path not correct if there are special characters in URL, which has been fixed in 6.x-1.x! To be sure I tested the URL strings you provided and it worked just fine!
