Hi John,

Got a lot further with the geodata module today. added the trust line to the pg config file and so the pgsql command is now working, there are a few issues. One I know you are already aware of is the one where it fails to import if there is a table with the name of the shape file in the zip.

The other, is when you are exporting to shapefile. the command to export to shape works fine, but the command to zip it up fails:

# mappingkit_proc "C:\Progra~1\7-Zip\7z.exe" -tzip a -y -osites\default\files\temp 491c748da823c.zip "testexport.shp" "testexport.shx" "testexport.dbf"
# zip results:array ( 'cmd' => '"C:\\Progra~1\\7-Zip\\7z.exe" -tzip a -y -osites\\default\\files\\temp 491c748da823c.zip "testexport.shp" "testexport.shx" "testexport.dbf"', 'stdout' => '', 'stderr' => 'The system cannot find the path specified. ', 'return_value' => 1, )

Again I am sure this is somehow related to bad pathing or perhaps a problem with assumptions of relativity about the path.

My debug information shows a message like:

zip results: array ( 'cmd' => 'C:\\Progra~1\\7-Zip\\7z.exe -tzip a -y -osites\\default\\files\\temp 492678189ec3c.zip "owagl.shp" "owagl.shx" "owagl.dbf"', 'stdout' => ' 7-Zip 4.32 Copyright (c) 1999-2005 Igor Pavlov 2005-12-09 Scanning Creating archive 492678189ec3c.zip Compressing owagl.dbf Compressing owagl.shp Compressing owagl.shx Everything is Ok ', 'stderr' => '', 'return_value' => 0, )

My path to 7z doesn't have double quotes around it! Executing commands in PHP gives problems (you know, something like "The system cannot find the path specified.") on double quotes at multiple locations. Because the end of the command line has double quotes around the file names, there shouldn't be double quotes around the 7z path.
