Form Values in confirmation message

I'm not sure what I might be doing wrong, and I'm starting to suspect that it just isn't possible, but I'd like to include some survey response values in the confirmation message. Something like ...

Thanks for filling out our questionnaire NAME. We look forward to seeing you in CITY.

I've tinkered with a few different things that I think ought to work (PHP input format, Additional Processing) but I'm not getting anywhere. Am I fooling myself?

If someone can get me going in the right direction, I'll write it up all pretty for the handbook.
