Getting blogger to work on other node types?

Could we get blogger to work on other node types?

I am using this module for a resume book project and I would like it to list the users as a block with their pictures... however I don't want the main H1 takes to say "John Doe's Blog"

I'd want it to say "John Doe's Resume" instead.

I think this happens because we are forced to associate the blogger functionality with just the Blog node type.

Any way to make Blogger's main functionality to other node types (even types we create on our own)?
