New web site in drupal

We are planning to develop a article based web site in drupal. we are expecting 10 million page views per month.
Which version of drupal is best in performence wise D5 Or D6.
Please share your thoughts.

What (and how many) additional modules will you be using? I think that will have a bigger impact in performance...
