Access only the listed pages doesn't work

Hi,
I listed 3 pages on the list after selected "Access only the listed pages" for Anonymous user,
but after logout from drupal, I can't access any single pages after that including the listed pages.
Please Advise,

Weird: I have the exact opposite issue. I set "access only listed pages" for a certain role, and listed these pages:
one/two/*
three/four/*
five
But users with the selected role can access ALL pages upon logging in--nothing has been restricted.
