I'm new to Drupal. I'm looking for a CMS that allows the admin to create content that only a specific user can see. I asked in the mambo forum but no one ever replied. Hopefully I can get better help here.

There are several Drupal Modules that can handle this:

  • User Related Content = A module to manage relationships between users and content.
  • Simple Access = This module allows administrators to make some nodes private and/or editable by certain user roles.
  • Taxonomy Access Control = Allows the user administrator to control access to nodes indirectly, by controlling which roles can access which categories.
