Cannot enter feedback - block closes on click

Hi -

Module sounds great. Unfortunately, on every browser I've tested, the block closes when I try to enter text.

Here's what happens:
click label: it opens
click text box: it closes
(repeat to comic effect)
click and hold in text box: it stays open and I can type text
click 'send': it closes and nothing appears in the feedback queue
click label: it opens and text is still inside
refresh page and open it: text is gone.

All dependent modules are correctly installed.

I'd love for this to work. Is there a non-javascript version (or a suggestion on how to implement the module without the open/close functionality)?
