I just upgraded to 3.0 beta, and we're getting a flood from a single IP. I mark a bunch of it as spam, see it listed in the logs (/admin/logs/spam/blocked_ip), and then seemingly after I delete the comments, the IP isn't blocked anymore.

After I delete the spam, the IP is not on the blocked list anymore at /admin/logs/spam/blocked_ip .

This is the current design of the module. IPs are blocked based on if they have posted spam. If you delete the posted spam, then the IP is no longer blocked. Marking By Design.

Note, this issue is related and could change how this works going forward.
