I don't know if I'm missing something or doing something wrong but after I finish uploading my images, it doesn't take me to any page that contains them (other than the preview page, that is if I allow captions in user permissions).

Is there a way for it to generate embed code (i.e. for forums or other websites) after it has completed the upload? I want to be able to generate copy and paste code for all the images uploaded at a certain time. Can somebody help me with this feature? I've been trying things with trigger and action in drupal but to no avail.

Your feature isn't possible yet by using modules. There's no interface yet to interact.
Ok, I think you don't want to hack the code, but it's better like this.
Also modules like Action or Trigger aren't supported yet. But we'll see, perhaps I find the time to integrate modules like action or trigger.
