I need to setup a personal portfolio site showing a great deal of work i have done. The thing is that most of the work is jpg screen shot images which i see no problem with Drupal showing. However a good portion of my work is also animations in various formats. In using Drupal in this manner to show my animations and screen shots what would be the suggested format for the animations and what would be the suggested module or modules to use to display these animations.

The goal would be each screen shot or animation to have a short description below each one.

Any suggestions on mods that stand out from the rest or suggested format for animations?

There is an excellent YouTube embed module. FCK editor has the ability to add flash in a post. And if it is a gif, FCK Editor or TinyMCE will work. Your content should dictate the format; Drupal should be able to handle whatever it ends up being. Hope that helps.
