A set of extra modules for addresses looks like a great idea, though it might be easier to administer all these modules if they were organized into a common module.info package name? (something like "package = addresses").

Markus,

Funny that you posted this one 8-)

I just created a patch for this. And my Addresses Extras will include that name.

I'm also renaming the packages without the "Addresses - " since it will be inside the package named Addresses we know already.

See patch below.

Thank you.

hehe... I thought this idea would be more productive as a feature request. :)

Though, I'm not sure if removing "Addresses - " from the name in .info is a good idea. It makes sense within the context of the .info file, and within the admin/build/modules table, but sometimes the module name is used somewhere else, and then, something like "Phone/Fax", "CCK", "Users" could be confused.

Guys,

its a constant debate on Drupal.org. They recommend to only include package tag on modules that has a complex structure and a real variety of submodules, like CCK, Views and eC.

Many modules dont respect this, creating new divisions for them. Since Addresses has not YET ;-) a big list of submodules, im willing to not include a special package for it, and maintain the "Addresses - " on the name.

on he future we might review this position.

regards,

massa

Massa,

You marked this as fixed. Shouldn't it be Postponed instead?

Also, with my Addresses Extras, you get another 4 or 5 entries. So that starts counting!

Thank you.
Alexis
