Description

What:
When entering text into the search textbox at api.drupal.org there is a live AJAX search that proposes search queries. If the list proposes something you'd like to be redirected to directly you just click in the popup list and then click the 'Search' button.

The live AJAX search is a very handy tool when you, for example, remember pieces of a function name.

The problem:
Sometimes you actually really want to search for something. Infact I do this pretty often, and everytime I

  1. fill in the text I want to search for
  2. click outside of the popup list to hide it, and
  3. then click Search.

The second step is just a waste of time and very unintuitive.

Solution:
Put the search button to the right of the textbox. That way it is clickable even if the popup list is visible.

I'm attaching a screenshot to with the search button transparent just to show where it is situated.

This is fixed in HEAD and will be on d6-api.drupal.org in a few minutes. My main concern is that this might be a too narrow for the field.
