Drupal 6.x installers available from stackbuilder for PostgreSQL 8.3

Hi All,

In an effort to make the Drupal deployment easy with PostgreSQL we have created a stackbuilder installer for Drupal 6.4. This installer is available on Windows, Linux (32/64 bit) and Mac (Universal) platforms

The stackbuilder can be optionally launched once the installer finishes installing postgresql server. Users can then choose the stacks they wish to deploy with the postgresql server. This framework downloads, installs and configures the selected modules for the users. The installers are available for Drupal 6.4 and the updates to version 6.6 will be released by the end of next week.

The latest postgresql installers can be downloaded from http://www.enterprisedb.com/products/pgdownload.do and http://www.postgresql.org/download/

Your feedback about the Drupal installer will be highly appreciated. Any bugs, comments and concerns can be logged at http://forums.enterprisedb.com.

Thanks,

The Postgresql version of Wamp

Decided that postgresql is my database of choice, and the installation locally on my windows machine went smoothly. I uninstalled a postgres windows user account and wamp, prior to the install. Now it remains to be seen what installation will be like using the command line interface when logged in by putty to my vps - if I need to install it that way.

Thanks to the devs.
