After a fresh install of views, though there were already views in the database, i keep getting these errors:

warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/ooridav1/public_html/sites/all/modules/views/includes/view.inc on line 1595.

user warning: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ') ORDER BY vid, position' at line 1 query: SELECT * FROM views_display WHERE vid IN () ORDER BY vid, position in /home/ooridav1/public_html/sites/all/modules/views/includes/view.inc on line 1226.

don't even know where to begin.
a similar error was found at this issue http://drupal.org/node/334084 -- marked as duplicate

additionally, the 'views' tab keeps disappearing from my admin menu

I'm not sure that other issue is a duplicate. Unless you know for sure you were using an install profile. That issue had some very specific information.

Closed while closing all Views support requests with no activity for 6 months. If you still need help, you may re-open this issue at any time.
