This version changes the location where VAT numbers are stored: #1390494: Save VAT number in its own table

This means that, if you have your own code that looks up an order's VAT number, you will have to use $order->vat_number rather than $order->data['vat_number'].

Additionally, there will be a property $order->vat_number_validated which is 0 if the VAT number has not been validated yet (because the service was down), else it will be 1 (assumed valid, input by admin) or a UNIX timestamp (date that it was validated through the VIES webservice).

Upgrading from version 6.x-1.x

In version 6.x-2.x of this module, the broken "Have to fill in VAT" permission has been replaced by a configuration setting in /admin/store/settings/vat-number
Please make sure that, after running the Upgrade procedure, the roles ticked there reflect what you want.
