The Current Status of this Project is "Works for Me" and a few other People around the Globe.
Indeed im didn't have enought Time to care about PHP Code in the last few Month and also in the near Future.
Some Bugreports in the last weeks are proving the fact that some people wan't a feature like this for Drupal.
So im ready pass my maintainer status away to someone with enought time, motivation and skill to improve this Module.
The Code is documented (PHP-Doc), and very well written. All variables have meaningful names - everything is documented in plain english and all strings are taget for translation. (My mothertounge is german ;)
I hope i did not trouble some one to much with my absence.
Sometime things do change when time flows by. Im no longer in charge with any kind of Webadministration. So im not up to date with the Changes in Drupal and his API. If i ever need a good PHP CMS again - Im sure i will pick Drupal again!

I'm interested, I'll contact you.

@sethcohn: Are you going to do anything with this? I'm trying to sort out what to do with all the APK fields right now and this module would be nice but the fact that nothing as happened in 8 months makes me think it's DOA.

Michelle, Sorry about the delay on this, I did indeed code up a new (improved?) version for D5, which went into production for a client, started planning for a D6 version, and I dropped the ball on it after that. Sadly, this isn't the only drupal module I've got sitting waiting for free time which never seems to free up.
I'll update things and get a D6 version out in the next week or so. Actually, reviewing my old code, I'm likely to change things a bit with hindsight.

Cool. I look forward to seeing what you come up with. I'd really like to replace the current method of having a CCK field for "MSN" and another for "Yahoo" and another for "AOL", etc. It's very cumbersome.

Any update on the Drupal 6 version?
