1-Everything works, except this with imageblock.
2-When I put a block of 1 column and 2 lines with "recent album" at both space, I end up with the two same pictures in the space!
3-Crank it to 3 lines, and I get... 2 same pictures and the next picture of the next album. This works in pairs. So, to see the second album, you need 3 spaces, third album, 5 spaces. Ridiculous.

I experience the same effect for anonymous users, once you are logged in, the image block looks fine

alexandreracine commentedPlease don't change that, I can't test with 5.x since I don't use it. Nevertheless I did use the "link" function to simply link one image to the entire gallery. Simpler.

JSurf commentedThis bug seems to be deep inside Gallery, its not a Drupal bug. I actually coud fix it in changing an SQL query inside the gallery2 imageblock module to use the DISTINCT keyword. Search for ImageBlockHelper.class in your gallery installation
