Hi,
I am integrating your job module in a community for designers. Each designr has her own blog, so in our community we have:
- personal blogs
- historical blog entries (posts) managed by the standard blog module (i.e. archive list)
- job posts
I found that every time I post a new jb, the job entry appears in the archive list, as if it was a blog entry!
Can you suggest a way to forbid job posts to appear in the blog archive list, or at least to have two archive lists, one for "blogs" and he other for "jobs"?
Best regards,
Salvatore

gmarus commentedI'm guessing that both your blog list and the job postings list are simply taking advantage of the default 'send to front page' feature. To exclude job postings from this list you can uncheck the box that enables this behaviour on each specific node (under publishing settings) or globally in one shot under the 'content types' category in the admin interface.

slarosa commentedHi gmarus,
thank you for your answer. In fact, in my initial setup of your module, I have left such a "promote to front page" mark CHECKED.
I unchecked it globally for the content type job post. Simply, I didn't know that nodes promoted to front pages are automatically "stored" in the "archive list"... I supposed that "archive list" was just collecting pure "blog" nodes! So I guess that everything I promote for the front page eventually goes into the archive list!?! Ouch!!!
So I suppose I have to pay great attention in avoiding to build up my site's home page using automatic "promotion", in order to avoid filling the "archive list" with unwanted things (announcements, articles etc).. 8-(
Best regards,
Salvatore
