URL alias not saved

Problem
When I create a new edition, and set a URL alias, the URL alias is not saved. However, if I go back to the edition, edit it and set the URL alias then it is saved.
How to reproduce
- Create a new edition
- Set a URL alias
- Save
- Edit the edition you've just saved : the URL alias hasn't been saved
