Hello,

i became this error:

* warning: imagettfbbox() [function.imagettfbbox]: No character set found in /var/www/virtual/xxx/htdocs/sites/all/modules/signwriter/signwriter.module on line 843.
* Unable to generate a signwriter image with font sites/all/fonts/*.ttf at size 20.

I have not been able to reproduce this error.

Can you possibly try the 6.x-2.x with the same set up and see if it is still an issue (that branch will be replacing 6.x-1.x very soon)?

Same prob here after upgrading it cant find the fonts and I have copied them to every possible place! Damn lol .. did you ever figure what it was?

Ok ... I just disabled --> uninstalled -->reinstalled and all is working fine now .. good thing I only had one profile!

Problem seems to be resolved and 6.x-1.x branch not supported any more so closing
