I've been searching the forums trying to find an event caledar. One that would allow a shop owner to have a calendar and be able to schedule events, especially on a reoccuring basis.

Can anyone point me to a module that's been completed for Drupal 6?

If you take a look at the new O'Reilly Drupal book page - http://drupal.org/node/333901 - it has a link to a free chapter -
http://www.doitwithdrupal.com/blog/sample-chapter-our-oreilly-book-now-a... - which covers creating an event calendar in Drupal 6. It uses three modules to do so... plus Views.

Thanks for the tip. I'll check it out tonight. I was hoping the O'rielly book was available. While I'm waiting, I picked up Pro Drupal Development. It's pretty deep, but I'm getting a feel for how Drupal works.

Checked out your site. Very cool.

I like the calendar module which works with the Content Construct Kit (CCK), date and views modules.

Which calendar, CCK, Date and View Modules would I need to install? I'm new to Drupal and need some guidence.
