can any help me say the following??

1. when u move mouse over to the contents in the header in the site www.linuxjournal.com it moves like a flash when mouse is placed on the next content category.. i see its not flash.

how its built.. any modules?

2. http://duvien.com
in this site to the right a box will be displayed with the similar to the above like with recent comment,posts and posts.when u click a particular it displays in the same box without page getting reloaded??

how this is done??

any help will be appreciated??

#1: appears to be custom jquery/js

#2: those are tabs, there are several tabs modules in downloads, i like the quicktabs module.
