Calender 6.x-2.o-rc4

I am not sure if this is the right board to be posting this but we really need some help. We installed the Calendar module last night, the small calendar appears in a block along with space to list the events. However we cannot seem to fend the calendar module, allowing us the configure the calendar and add items to the calendar. We've gone through the permissions area and everything seems fine and is checked as active.

Thoughts? Ideas? Solutions?
