I'm sucking in RSS feeds and tagging them on the fly with OpenCalais, from feeds in a specific vertical...

...what can I do with these tags? At first I was just stoked to be tagging everything automatically, now I'm kind of scratching my head as to waht to do with all the tags.

Heh. Ok there is a lot that you can do now that you have all these tags. You can take any of the current Taxonomy modules and utilize them. Something such as Tagadelic and do Tag Clouds, or you can use Views to make a browser on all the terms within a particular Vocabulary. We (Phase2) have a set of modules coming out in a few weeks that will allow you to do really incredible things with these semantic tags.

Cool. Here's what I'm doing so far:

1. Getting related videos from youtube
2. Getting related tweets from twitter
3. Generating tag clouds
4. grabbing images off flickr

Fun, eh!

Excellent, that is great. We actually have a new release of a module called More Like This (http://drupal.org/project/morelikethis) coming up that will integrate Google Video/Flickr/Yahoo BOSS News, Web, Image search and also uses taxonomy to match other related content on your site. Keep an eye out for it.
