It would be nice to have an "enable" checkbox for feedapi_node similar to feedapi_inherit. That way the node parsers is available, but you don't have to use it. This cuts down on the need to create separate feed content types just to turn off the node parser, a real pain.

I should have been more clear. The node processor, like taxonomy inherit, both have "enable" buttons. But, the taxonomy inherit has a second checkbox that is available on node edit forms to turn off the processor. It's the default checkbox. This allows you to enable various processors for the content type and still turn them on/off on a per node basis.
