Sorry, i'm a drupal newbie, but i can't understand where i should put my images folder(s). the module is installed and active, but it doesn't appear, I think because it can't find images.

In your site's directory tree, you'll find the following hierarchy: sites/default/files (typically [your site's root]/sites/default/files ).
Add a new directory within the 'files' directory, so that it is something like: [your site's root]/sites/default/files/galleryimages
drop your image files into the new galleryimages (or whatever you want to call it) directory.
Then go to Administer>>Site Building>>Blocks , click on the 'configure' link for your slideshow
In the image path, type 'galleryimages' (or whatever you called your directory, no quotes), and save.
That should do it for you.
