Please help i am new to drupal;;;;;?

Start with reading http://drupal.org/getting-started in its entirety, while experimenting with the system .

• get a book or 2 on developing for drupal. I got 'Pro Drupal Development' but I hear good things about "learning drupal 6 module development' as well.
